SCHOOL UNIFORM AND DRESS CODE
The Aristotle Day School uniform policy is intended to set a standard of neat and appropriate dress for a school with high expectations where students should learn to present themselves responsibly. The uniform policy allows for easy identification, reduces fashion competition, and offers parents options within a reasonable budget. It is the responsibility of parents to send their children to school dressed in a manner that complies with the spirit and letter of the uniform policy.
A correct uniform is required for attendance in school. ‘Special’ days require students to wear the ‘special’ uniform on those days.
BOYS
Daily Uniform: Boy students should dress daily in khaki pants/shorts (no cargo) with a school monogrammed navy polo top.
‘Special’ Uniform: PreK, Kindergarten. 1st and 2nd grade Boy students are required to wear blue pants and an Oxford shirt under school monogrammed vests on ‘special’ days.
Preschool Boys do not have a ‘Special’ Uniform.
GIRLS
Daily Uniform: Girl students should dress daily in a navy blue school monogrammed polo dress. Tights or leggings worn under a jumper must be white or blue.
‘Special’ Uniform: PreK, Kindergarten. 1st and 2nd grade Girl students are required to wear the Plaid Jumper with a round collar blouse and white socks on ‘special’ days.
Preschool girls do not have a ‘Special’ Uniform.

In order to make your uniform shopping easier, our school has established an account with a reputable uniform company, Schoolbelles. Through Schoolbelles, our families have the opportunity to do 'one stop shopping.' The Foster Avenue store in North Chicago will have a dedicated section specifically for Aristotle Day School where all of our uniform pieces can be found (excluding shoes and spirit wear). Foster Avenue Store — 7246 W. Foster, Chicago — (773) 631-0450
You may choose, as well, to shop online at www.schoolbelles.com. If you choose to order online, you will need to put in our school code, which is S3166.
With the exception of the school monogram polos, vests, and jumpers which are found at Schoolbelles only, families may shop wherever they feel it is most affordable.
